Applications
NU ALUMINIUM CABLES are normally used in overhead power transmission lines. The
CAA cable is a concentric stranded conductor made up of one or more layers (cores) of 1350 aluminum wire,
(H19) and a galvanized steel core of high mechanical strength. Depending on the size of the cable, the core can consist of a single steel wire or several stranded steel wires.
Due to the numerous possible combinations of aluminum and steel wires, the proportion of these can be varied in order to obtain the best ratio between current-carrying capacity and mechanical strength for each application.
Packaging
They are usually packed on wooden spools.
