INDULINK Medium Voltage Cable (3.6/6 kV)

The INDULINK medium voltage cable is a type of electrical cable used for power transmission in electricity distribution networks with a nominal voltage of 3.6/6 kV. It is manufactured with thermosetting cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, which provides greater electrical and mechanical resistance, as well as low dielectric loss.

Construction

1.Conductor: Bare electrolytic copper, soft temper, compacted circular stranded (Class 2)

2.Conductor shielding: Semiconductor thermosetting compound.

3.Insulation: XLPE 90 °C cross-linked polyethylene thermosetting compound.

4.Insulation Shielding: Layer of semiconductor thermosetting compound that is easy to remove when cold.

5.Metallic Shield: Bare copper wire.

6.Separator: Non-hygroscopic polyester tape, applied in a helix covering 100% of the cable.

7. Cover: PVC ST2 polyvinyl chloride compound.

Cables with 3 conductors, vein identification by means of white, blue and red ribbons.

Applications

INDULINK CABLES are used in input and/or distribution circuits in residential or industrial buildings, substations, etc. They can be installed outdoors, in conduits, ducts, trays or directly underground.

Packaging

They are usually packed in wooden reels
