Construction
1.Phase conductor:Bare electrolytic copper, soft temper, with flexible stranding: class 4 for cables with a section of
2.5mm², 4mm² and 6mm². Class 5 for cables with a section of 1.5mm² and over 6mm².
2. insulation: extruded thermosetting compound of ethylene-propylene rubber (HEPR)
3.Inner Cover: Flame-retardant thermoplastic compound (PVC), where applicable.
3 Conductors: White, light blue, black vein insulation and black cover.
4 Conductors: White, light blue, black, red vein insulation and black cover.
Note: Can be produced in colors defined by the customer (on request).
Applications
The main constructive feature of EPROFLEX 90 PLANO CABLES is their thermosetting insulation, which due to its high thermal stability allows them to be used under the following conductor temperature conditions:
– Permanent Regime 90ºC;
– Overload regime 130ºC;
– Short-circuit regime 250ºC.
With thermoset insulation, this type of cable can operate at a higher current capacity, thus allowing smaller sections to be used when compared to cables with conventional thermoplastic insulation.
The polyvinyl chloride (PVC) cover, in addition to its excellent abrasion resistance and low coefficient of friction, makes installation simple, quick and safe.
EPROFLEX 90 PLANO CABLES are used in power and submerged pump circuits (artesian wells).
Packaging
They are usually packed in wooden reels.
