Control Cable (PVC/PVC) 500V Shielded Braid – Tinned Copper Wire

The control cable (PVC/PVC) 500V shielded braid – tinned copper wire is an electrical cable made up of two PVC sheaths which surround a set of stranded tinned copper wires. The PVC jacket offers protection against external agents such as humidity and corrosion, while the shielded tinned copper braid offers protection against external electromagnetic interference. The cable is designed for use in low-voltage control systems, such as in industrial and commercial installations. Its voltage rating is 500V, which means it can withstand an electric current of up to 500 volts.

1. Conductor: Bare electrolytic copper conductor, soft temper, flexible stranding.

2. Insulation: Extruded compound based on flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

3. Assembly: The strands (insulated conductors) are twisted together in concentric crowns to form the core of the cable.

4.Separator: Banding with polyester tape, applied in an overlapping helix, over the meeting of the strands.

5. Inner Cover: Extruded layer of flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound.

6. Shielding: Tinned copper wire braid.

7.Cover: Extruded layer of flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound in black.
