1. Conductor: Bare aluminum, alloy 1350, circular compacted stranded (Class 2).
2. Conductor shield: Semiconductor thermosetting compound.
3. Insulation: EPR rubber thermosetting compound High Modulus 90 ºC.
4. Insulation Shield: Layer of semiconductor thermosetting compound that is easy to remove when cold.
5. Metal Shielding: Bare copper wire.
6. Separator: Non-hygroscopic polyester tape, applied in a helix covering 100% of the cable.
7. Cover: Thermoplastic, non-halogenated, non-flame propagating compound (SHF1), with low smoke and toxic gas emissions.
Applications
The modern technology used to manufacture ATOX AL 90 MEDIUM VOLTAGE NON-HALOGENATED ALUMINUM CABLE provides an excellent technical and very economical alternative for electrical installations in buildings where there is a high concentration of people (e.g. airports, tunnels, hospitals, etc.): airports, tunnels, hospitals, residential and commercial buildings such as hotels, cinemas, shopping malls, theaters) and where, in the event of a fire, evacuation from the site is long and difficult (these areas are classified as BD2, BD3 and BD4, by the ABNT NBR 5410 and ABNT NBR 13570 standards). They can be installed outdoors, in conduits, ducts, trays or directly underground.
