BARE CAA ALUMINUM CABLE (ACSR)

	USAGE *ALUMINUM BARE CABLE* are typically used in overhead power lines transmission. CAA cable is a concentric stranded conductor composed of one or more layers (crowns) of aluminum wires 1350, hard temper (H19) and a core (galvanized steel core with high mechanical resistance). As the size of the cable, the core may consist of one or more steel wires stranded steel wires. Due to the numerous possible combinations of aluminum and steel wires can vary the proportion thereof in order to obtain the best relationship between current carrying capacity and mechanical strength for each application.
	PACKAGING There cables are normally wrapped around wooden spindles.
