Construction
1 Conductor: Bare electrolytic copper, soft temper, flexible stranding.
2. Insulation: EPR rubber thermosetting compound, high modulus HEPR 90° C.
3. Assembly: The strands (insulated conductors) are assembled together in concentric crowns to form the core of the cable.
4.Separator: Banding with polyester tape, applied in an overlapping helix, over the meeting of the strands.
5.Inner cover: Thermoplastic, non-halogenated, non-flame-propagating compound with low smoke and toxic gas emissions.
6.Shielding: Bare copper tape, applied in a helix, covering 100% of the cable.
7. Cover: SHF1 non-halogenated thermoplastic compound, non-flame retardant, with low smoke and toxic gas emissions.
Numbered black veins.
Applications
ATOX CONTROL CABLES are suitable for electrical installations in buildings where there is a high concentration of people (e.g. airports, tunnels, commercial buildings such as hotels, cinemas, shopping malls, hospitals, residential buildings) and where, in the event of a fire, evacuation is long and difficult. These areas are classified as BD2, BD3 and BD4 by NBR 5410 and NBR 13570.
Packaging
They are usually packed in wooden reels.
