1000V Shielded Control Cable with Copper Tape (PVC/PVC)

The control cable 1000V shielded with copper tape (PVC/PVC) is an electrical cable used for transmitting control signals in automation and instrumentation systems in industrial environments. It consists of a copper conductor, insulated by a layer of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and covered by an outer PVC jacket with copper tape shielding.

Construction

1. Conductor: Bare electrolytic copper conductor, soft temper, flexible stranding.

2. Insulation: Extruded compound based on flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

3. Assembly: The strands (insulated conductors) are twisted together in concentric crowns to form the core of the cable.

4. Separator: Banding with polyester tape, applied in an overlapping helix, over the meeting of the strands.

5. Inner cover: Extruded layer made from flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC).

6. Shielding: Bare copper tape, applied helically, covering 100% of the cable.

7. Cover: Extruded layer of flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound, black in color.

Applications

The copper tape shielded control cable is used in control, signaling, remote control and power supply circuits in fixed installations with a voltage rating of up to 1000V. For installations requiring protection against interference, noise, magnetic fields and good mechanical resistance to radial stress.

Packaging

They are usually packed in wooden reels.
